INTRODUCTION:
As promised in an email sent to the donor on April 2019 shown below, this report will complete the narrative of how the two donations were used for the two purposes stated above.
"Concerning you and your mom's last donation, I have just a very short report to give you now because we bought just two items. Sand and 3 bags of cement (60,000 and 15,000 francs CFA respectively). We made cement blocks with the sand/cement and can not proceed with the building of the opposite/behind portion, last segment of the fence because we needed more cement/sand. We will join some details of this report to our next donation report so that we can avoid writing many reports for small amounts of donation each time. Once more, many thanks and stay very blessed."
Received April 11th 2019 - 75,369 frs CFA (15,000 JPY)
Received July 3rd 2019 - 143,717 frs CFA (28,000 JPY)
LEVEL OF REALIZATION OF THE BIO-SECURITY FENCE PROJECT:
The bio-security fence project is almost getting to an end because all the walls round the fence have now been raised. Pillars have been put at estimated distances apart to make the walls firm.
We are left with plastering of the walls and putting on a cap/ cover on the top of the walls to avoid rain from reaching/wetting the walls with time.
LEVEL OF ATTAINMENT OF THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:
It should be noted that this project had as primary objective, the prevention of diseases due to trespass by both stray animals and human within the mobile livestock farm area
because the project is located within the periphery of an urban town setting thus has been receiving an influx of visitors from far and near.
his report is being written at the time when many farmers have suffered from swine fever attack but this year 2019 the mobile livestock farm has succeeded for the first time to stay safe from the yearly outbreak.
This is directly proves that besides other bio-security measures put in place, the bio-security fence project have made its impact felt.
The project also aimed at giving the farm a face lift that will qualify it as a demonstration farm where other farmers of the pig cooperative can go there during trainings to see and copy the example to emulate in their own farms.
In view of this consideration, much still has to be done to enable Mobile Livestock piggery farm to stand out clear as an example for other farmers to copy. Following the training guide line of our Dutch pig expert Mr. Arie Wingelaar, we still need to improve on things like...
The quality of drinkers and feeders within the piggery
The sow delivery compartments -putting farrowing grates
Make provision for heating up newborn piglets
Stock the farm enough with quality improved breeds of pigs, especially as the stock number has reduced drastically due to spending on the fence project coupled with the on-going sociopolitical crisis
Some able farmers in our neighborhood have also started fencing their piggeries after seeing the example of the cooperative from Mobile Livestock Farm.
SOME PICTURES OF THE PROJECT:

You can see from above two photos that a concreted steep slope separates the piggery farm from a neighbor's residential house facing up words. Running water, piped from the roofs and piggery, flow down the steep slope, connecting to the valley down to the quarter stream.

The two pictures above are showing the work in progress. My little son Rene is always there to watch how the father is building with cement blocks.
DIFFICULTIES FACED THIS TIME AROUND:
This back part of the fence is a very delicate position to build because any slightest error stepping on the slippery, steep gutter will land you into great trouble.
I had a bitter expereince on Wednesday 28th August 2019 and spend one week with severe waist pain and wound injuries around my left arm/elbow, because in an attempt to support myself as I was about to fall, the still freshly built wall gave way and the blocks chased me from the back as I slided along in the slippery gutter.
My son Justice rushed and saved my life as he cried aloud and assisting in lifting me up, I wounded and in great pains especially around my waist . As a Spartan who will rather die without surrendering, I never gave up the work because I still had some more mixed cement/sand left on the ground. Though in pains, it was obligatory that I complete what I started.
FINANCIAL BREAK DOWN OF THE DONATION:

Two hundred and eighteen thousand seven hundred francs CFA
